FAT BOY SLIMS FOR AFRICA - RESPECT 2008+ building homes for HIV/AIDS orphans in Eshowe, South Africa Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I am planning to loose all my excess blubber in aid of a good cause, 3 1/2 stone infact. At the start of this quest in late February I was a 19 stone blob ! By the time June comes I want to be a much more respectable 15 1/2 stone. EEEE I will be able to run when showing Pointers - without taking 200 yards to stop, bend down to show those dachshunds and ride my horse without it falling over or grunting everytime I get on ! WHATS THE PLAN STAN ? My employer Stephen George and Partners are attempting to raise £100,000 per year for the next 3 years and are sending two teams of volunteers each year to assist in the building of new homes for HIV/AIDS orphans. I am trying to raise as much money as possible for this worthy cause. I am on the first team of 10 volunteers to leave for Eshowe in South Africa. As an added incentive, Stephen George and Partners are going to double up all donations received this year, up to a total contribution of £20,000. Furthermore, any money donated before September 1st 2008 will be doubled again by USAID. Therefore every £500 raised with your help will become £2000 in actual money received by the charity ! ! ! HOW TO SPONSOR :- Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. If you are a UK taxpayer, please tick the box so that we can claim an extra 28% in tax at no cost to you. Any money you donate will go towards the building materials needed to construct these much needed homes. All my personal travel expenses will be funded by my employers. Many thanks for your support we really appreciate it. Keep checking the site for updates and pictures!
