Story

For those of you who are unaware of what BLESMA stands for or what the charity does, please click on the link below.

http://www.blesma.org/

BLESMA's work has a direct impact on those who need it most. These people have laid their bodies on the line in the service of their Country and have suffered life altering injuries as a result. In my humble opinion, it is one of the most worthy charities operating at the moment. My 26.2 miles will be worth every stride if the money raised helps one Serviceman take his first step.

I don't have a fundraising target in mind and I already had a VLM entry prior to approaching BLESMA. This is not one of those corporate charity places where I have to raise two or three grand just because a charity thinks it's a business. If I raise £200 I will be happy, but if I raise more I will be even happier. All travel, entry and accommodation costs have been met by myself.

I appreciate that there isn't a lot of spare cash kicking around nowadays but even a fiver will help.

Thank you for taking the time to read my page..

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Cheers, Rick.
