SNOWDON TREK FOR GAZA · 25 October 2014

Human Appeal provides relief to victims of natural disasters, wars and social hardship. It improves the quality of life of underprivileged communities through our projects that aim to provide education, health and social development. It looks after the wellbeing of orphans.

Story

Conflict is devastating families in Gaza. The death toll is rising by the hour and many children have lost their homes, been badly injured and seen family members killed.

More than 270 000 people have fled their homes in fear of their lives, seeking refuge in crowded shelters and school buildings. Many of them are children.

  • More than 9,800 people in Gaza have been injured and more than 1,900 Gazans have been killed.
  • Over 400,000 people have fled their homes in fear of prolonged violence.
  • More than 100,000 have had their homes destroyed or damaged beyond repair.
  • Over 373,000 children require direct and specialised psychosocial support.
  • More than 200,000 people need food supplies

I will be climbing Mount Snowden on the 25th October to help raise money with Human Appeal for a much needed Intensive Care Unit in Gaza. It is our responsibility to help our suffering brothers and sisters in Gaza with providing the life saving medical facilities they need. Please donate whatever you can.

God willing we can all come together to help rebuild a broken nation.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "The believer's shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity."
