Solidarity with Syria · 1 July 2013

The World Federation of KSIMC is eradicating poverty within the poorest and deprived communities across the globe, by providing access to education, healthcare, promoting economic development, securing basic rights to food, clean water and sanitation, and building spiritual and vibrant communities.

Story

Whoever satiates a hungry believer so that the one is satisfied fully, neither a human being among people nor a near-stationed angel nor a divine Messenger knows how great his reward is in the Hereafter except Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.’ (Imam al-Sadiq (A))

According to UNICEF, as many as four million Syrian children are in need of urgent humanitarian assistance.  Many of these children belong to refugee families who are now living in Lebanon.

To help Syrian refugees in desperate need, I am participating in the Solidarity for Syria campaign under the World Federation of KSIMC.

From 1 July – 05 July, I will be living on an average of £1.25 a day for 5 days to raise funds for Syrian refugees in Lebanon who are living in extreme poverty.

Your generous donations will enable Syrian refugees in Lebanon to feed, clothe and care for their families.
