Reading Half Marathon 2010 · 21 March 2010 ·

Headway Thames Valley provides advice, support & rehabilitation to adults living with acquired brain injury and their families and carers. The charity aims to improve lives wherever it can by encouraging and enabling independence, hobbies, return to work, social integration, adjustment & acceptance.

Story

This March 21st, we will all be running/walking the Reading Half Marathon in aid of Headway.

Headway was set up to give help to those who suffered from a brain injury and those close to people suffering from a brain injury. Their mission is to promote understanding of all aspects of brain injury and to provide information, support and services to people with brain injury, their families and carers.

We have chosen to support Headway after the help and support they provided to a friend's sister and family after her sister was involved in serious road accident last year. It's certainly a worthy cause, and we all greatly appreciate your support for this run.
