My story

Hello...and welcome to the opportunity of a lifetime to sponsor me to do not only the 5K dash through Hyde Park, but an extraordinary feat of feminist fearlessness - walking on fire!

I'm raising money for the truly fabulous Fawcett Society. We are the only national charity working to close the equality gap between women and men.

Your donation will help Fawcett tackle pregnancy discrimination affecting 30,000 women each year, close the pay gap because after 40 yrs of legislation there is still a gap between what women and men are paid (!), and ensure better provision for victims of rape in the UK.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your donation will come straight to Fawcett, and with Gift Aid, for every £1 you donate we can reclaim an extra 28p - can't argue with that!
