24 x 24 FCA Challenge · 16 March 2006

Islamic Relief is an international relief and development charity that aims to alleviate the suffering of the world's poorest people. As well as responding to disasters and emergencies, it promotes sustainable economic and social development by working with local communities - regardless of race, religion or gender.

Story

Thank you for visiting the Foster Care Associates (FCA) 24 x 24 Challenge fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor our team online.

On April 28th, a team from FCA will put their best foot forward to walk uphill and down dale to conquer 24 peaks in the Lake District, covering a distance of 64 miles. They have just 24 hours in which to complete the challenge and boost funds for Islamic Relief.

FCA hopes this effort will raise £30,000 in order to fund the building of a school for young victims of the Pakistan earthquake. At the very least, we would hope to raise £2,400 to build a family home.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Islamic Relief will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
