Well, we made it!
It was an amazing mission. France and Switzerland was wonderful; views, food, chambres d'hotes and all the support to us both along the way. I'll gladly take the car up that mountain next time!
Thank you for all your generous help and support. We'd happily bore you with all the photos and stories (too many for here), so keep in touch.
Ferg and Sarah
Dear Friends,
Many thanks for visiting our page. The mission is to cycle 1100km in 11 days. On 4th August 2009 I depart Cranleigh, Surrey ending 5250ft above sea level in the high Swiss Alps.
Why?
To raise awareness about Depressive Illnesses and money for the poorly funded Depression Alliance.
Money raised offline will be donated to The Harry Edwards Healing Sanctuary who have helped tremedously with Sarah's recovery. You can also donate straight to them via www.harryedwards.org.uk.
All the best
Ferg
ps I went for my first cycle today (1st March) and yes, it was sore - this is going to be tough, but it'll be easier with your support. Cheers!
