Hadrian's Wall · 17 April 2013

Fire Fighters Charity provides care and support to the UK’s fire family. It helps with any health and wellbeing challenges firefighters, control staff, and everyone working in – or retired from – the UK’s fire services, as well as their families, may face - during and after service

Story

On the 7- 10 June 2013, a team of 12 Firefighters from Oxfordshire Fire & Rescue Service will be walking along the route of Hadrian’s Wall, whilst carrying a training dummy on a stretcher.

We aim to complete the 84 miles within 96 hours.

Our team are;

Nigel Chaney, Doug Whitford, Lee Churchouse, Coral Davis, Pete Smith, Steve Briggs, Tim Nothcott, Jed Boyle, Steve Potter, Mark O'Connor, Kev Robbins and Matt Smith

and of course, the Training Dummy.

We aim to raise £5000 for The Firefighter's Charity and any support or donations would be amazing. Please take some time to read about the fantastic work and support that The Firefighter's Charity provides.
