ACT is taking the fight to cancer. We aim to provide education and information that help owners, the veterinary profession and all who care for our pets understand more about cancer and what treatments are possible.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

For those of you who know me and my family you'll know we lost our beloved little boy Jake on the 5th May 2007. Jake was diagnosed with Haemangiosarcoma on February 5th 2007 after he collapsed at home unexpectedly one evening, and three months later he lost his battle with this silent killer. We have lost our best friend and companion after 11 wonderful years and are all heartbroken at loosing an amazing little boy. Jake wasn't a pet but a member of our family and a huge void has been left in his place.

After loosing Jake we desperately wanted to help aid research and prevent others going through the heartbreak we have and would be grateful if anyone could donate as little or as much as possible to help aid the research of the Animal Cancer Trust.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: Animal Cancer Trust will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.

Please donate generously.

Many thanks for your support.

Ps. This is also dedicated to those who have lost their 4-legged friends or are currently fighting against canine cancer - Together we can make a difference
