Great Scottish Walk 2006 · 18 June 2006 ·

Myeloma UK is the only organisation in the UK dealing exclusively with myeloma. We make it possible to live longer and better lives with myeloma. Through research and treatments, we find new ways to a cure. Together, we are the cure.

Story

Hey folks,

As you all know, Mum was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in October.

The last six months have certainly been a learning curve for us all.  For the passangers on this ride though, it has also been more than a little frustrating having to stand back and let things run their course.

In an attempt to fight the feeling of helplessness, my fab friend Lucy,
whose family has also recently experienced the effects of
cancer, suggested we "do something."

So, on June 18th Lucy, Jeet, Piriyah, Abbe, Ed and I will be joining forces to take part in the Great Scottish Walk, in order to raise money for the International Myeloma Foundation (UK).

We would be eternally grateful, if you would take the time to sponsor us on this endeavour, and help us to fight this disease.

Spend Big, Spend Big!!!

Thank you all,

Ashleena
