Story
(PT abaixo) EN: Volunteering with a group of young adults, from the UK,
Nepal, and other Raleigh Partnership states, to conduct instrumental improvements in local Nepalese communities.
This Raleigh placement will focus on implementing and improving sustainable development, especially regarding WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) to allow prosperity.
Throughout the three months, I will be staying with a host family,
living like a native, absorbing the Nepali culture and customs. This will broaden my horizons whilst also positively contributing towards change in attitudes and policies regarding gender, governance, education and the environment in Nepal.
Your donation will allow for Raleigh to continue to do their
amazing social and economic projects in these communities across the world, allowing further positive transformation to occur.
PT: Este projeto de voluntariado irá ajudar na implementação de projetos sob o desenvolvimento sustentável em grande parte relacionados com o WASH (água, saneamento público e higiene).
Durante 3 meses irei residir com uma família de acolhimento local, integrando-me na Sociedade e hábitos culturais a um nível mais profundo. Tal experiência enriqueceria os meus conhecimentos culturais e gerais, além de que irei ajudar a mudar atitudes básicas sob perspetivas de organização social (tais como hábitos de higiene comunitários) , direitos básicos, educação e ambiental no Nepal.
O seu donativo permitirá que Raleigh (a comunidade de voluntariado) continue com as suas ações de intervenção e apoio socioeconómico pelo mundo.
