Steps is the leading charity working for all those whose lives are affected by childhood lower limb conditions. Everything we do is about valuing and supporting individuals, families and carers affected by conditions which have an impact on the legs, hips or feet.

Story

Baby Luke was born in March this year, and is the best baby we could have hoped for!!!  Unfortunately, he has a common condition called Talipes (or Clubfoot) - meaning his feet are turned in quite severely, and need treatment.  Starting at 2 weeks old he began to receive great treatment, and currently has both legs in plaster casts.

Our charity - Steps - are there to help and support parents, children and families if they are affected by Clubfoot or more serious lower limb conditions

We are lucky enough to live near a great facility, and Luke gets excellent treatment, but not all families are as fortunate as we are.  Please help me to raise money for Steps, who can use it to continue to provide support and guidance to anybody needing to call upon them.

Steps are a small charity, and I hope you can help me to raise £1,000 for them, to aid the great work that they do....    .... so I will be completing the Great Manchester Run for the third succesive year, and also aim to complete a painfully long 1-day bike ride in a bid to tempt you to part with some of your "hard earned cash".  Jayne is helping with the fundraising also...

20th April - Salford Quays... 5km...  20mins 52secs

18th May - Great Manchester Run 10km... 1hour 0 mins 2 secs - gutted (was aiming to beat 1 hour)

The RBS helped boost my fundraising with a £500 Community Cashback Award, pushing me over the £1000 mark.  Amazing !
