Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

On September 18th Carol and Fiona leave Stansted to cycle 300 km to Amsterdam,  (we do have a ferry from Harwich to Hook of Holland!).  It will take us 3 days.  We know that Holland is said to be very flat    but that means that we have to pedal ALL the way, no rests on down hill stretches!

We both work with amputees at Queen Mary's Hospital, Carol as a Social Worker and Fiona as an Occupational Therapist; so amputees are an important part of our lives and it is a privilege to raise money for such a inspiring organisation as the Douglas Bader Foundation. DO dig deep and be generous - all the funds raised will go to the DBF

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Douglas Bader Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!
