COPS is a UK charity dedicated to helping the families of police officers and police staff who have lost their lives on duty to rebuild their lives. We aim to ensure that surviving family members have the help they need to cope with such tragedy and they remain part of the police family.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Friday 26th July I am setting off with Police colleagues from Wiltshire police Headquarters to raise money for COPs - Care of Police Survivors, a charity which looks after the families of police officers who have died on duty. We cycle just over 200 miles - 96 on Friday to Milton Keynes where we meet up with other forces and then a further 80 on Saturday to Tamworth in Staffordshire where we receive a medal and meet up with other forces who have cycled from all over the country. On Sunday morning we cycle the short distance in procession to the National Memorial Arboretum where we pay our respects to fallen officers. The service is emotional but humbling to attend. Each rider rides in memory of a specific officer and often we are able to meet their family at the memorial service.

Any donation however small to this great cause would be really appreciated! Thanks in anticipation.
