Hello!

On 6 December 2009, I will be donning a Santa suit and joining hundreds of other Santas in an attempt to run 5k around a chilly Greenwich Park for St Joseph’s Hospice.
 
So please dig deep and give as much as you can – even a small donation makes a big difference at St Joseph’s. If I reach just £100, the money raised would be enough to pay to transport one person to the day hospice, pay for one complimentary therapy treatment and cover the cost of one hour of physiotherapy – potentially brightening up the day and improving the quality of life for 3 seriously ill people!
 
St Joseph’s Hospice does fantastic work caring for people with incurable, life-limiting illnesses across East and North East London. They provide a broad range of services which enrich the lives of patients and their families.

All of their services are provided free of charge to all who can benefit. It costs £12 million to run the hospice every year but less than half of this comes from the NHS – the rest depends on the generosity of their supporters.
