Exceed Worldwide supports people with disabilities living in poverty by providing free Prosthetic and Orthotic (P&O) services and education in South and Southeast Asia.

Story

On 26 December 2004 Fiona was hit by  the Asian tsunami which killed over 300,000 people and devastated South East Asia.  Fiona was severely injured in the disaster and subsequently lost her right leg. Over the past year she has been lucky enough to have had access to excellent medical care and fully appreciates how this has enabled her to return to a normal life.

In November 2006 Fiona, with her friend Sarah, returned to Asia and cycled 500km from Saigon to Ang Kor Wat to raise money for amputees in Asia who, through their circumstances, are not able to access the same quality of care as Fiona.

We would like to say a huge huge thank you to everyone who has sponsored us and who has made our amazing total raised possible. The money that you have all raised will make a big big difference to the lives of Cambodian amputees and other disabled people.

Thanks again!

Fiona and Sarah
