I have been persuaded by (so called!) friends to take part in the Great Manchester Run on the 18th May 2008.  Although I have done a couple of 5km runs, I have never attempted a 10km run before and, quite frankly, I'm terrified!  This is the reason I have left it until now to start fundraising as I was worried I'd 'bottle out' (it may still happen...!) but hopefully your kind sponsorship and the good I'll be doing for the kitties will spur me on!
