My story

So the heat is on…! I’m only five months in to my new role and the team have already persuaded me to walk over hot coals on 11 February and join other brave “soles” in raising money for Winston’s Wish! I was a little hesitant at first but after speaking with families at our annual Christmas gathering and hearing about the challenges they are facing, I thought this would be an ideal way for me to raise funds to allow Winston’s Wish to help even more bereaved children and young people.

I am sure that many of you have heard already that 2012 is the 20 anniversary year for Winston’s Wish; we are hoping to raise £20,000 from this event and to help us achieve that I really need your sponsorship. I’m all fired up (pardon the pun!) and raring to go so your kind donation will keep me motivated on the day.

If on the other hand reading this has inspired you to join me and the rest of the team. There is still time to sign up… just visit www.winstonswish.org.uk/firewalk.
