Thank you for visiting this website and donating in the memory of Fiona and to a very worthy cause.
RIDE UPDATE
We are very pleased to tell you that we successfully completed the ride on Sunday the 7th September in and around Stratford.
Setting a good pace we were amongst the first to finish - the route had taken a bit of a battering through the week resulting in a number of diversions due to flooding. Fortunately the the poor weather that we had suffered all week held off on the day and we were able to ride in relatively calm conditions.
On behalf of John and I we would both like to thank you for the incredible support to this worthy cause and here's to Fiona....
All the very best
John & Jerry
Fiona Sinclair (nee Fegan), died of malignant melanoma on 17th January 2008 aged 44.
Fiona, daughter of John and Olga, wife of Clive, mother of Nicky and Stephanie, and sister to John, is missed every day.
Fiona loved her life, her family and her friends and fought her cancer every step of the way. She remained positive until the end and the strength she showed helps her family cope with the unbearable sadness of losing her.
Fiona received unbelievable support from the Ayrshire Hospice and her family would like to repay the kindness and care they provided by raising some funds.
With that in mind Fiona's brother John and his friend Jerry will be riding the Macmillan 100 mile Charity Bike ride in the Cotswolds, UK on the 7th September 2008 and now aim to raise over £5000 to help The Ayrshire Hospice care for other families in the same way that they helped Fiona.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor John and Jerry: Ayrshire Hospice gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you - we know you will have many requests for support so we do appreciate your thoughts.
Clive, Nicky, Stephanie & John
