My story

 

Thank you for visiting my fundraisin page. Please take the time to read the information below and sponser me on the walk on 10th October for CoolTan Arts.

I suffer from Osteo-artheritus and a lot of the time am in a lot of pain, as some of you may be aware getting out of a chair or walking down the road can sometimes be a painful struggle for me. So to get myself walking a minimum 1/2 mile every week and doing a 1 mile walk every month in preparation for the sponsered walk is a real feat. 

Please sponser me generously to encourage me to improve my health, wellbeing and fitness and support a charity that has helped me a lot since June.

Join me and celebrate World Mental Health Day! End stigma and discimination and promote well-being and fit to boot!

My aim is to improve my fitness by 10th October to walk 5 miles to raise much needed money for CoolTan Arts. CoolTan Arts aim to raise £3M to buy a purpose built building with 5 years running costs included. This walk has been designed so that everyone can participate, wheel chair users, people with mental and physical disabilities, the young and old.

CoolTan Arts works with 1000's of people every year. CoolTan Arts exists to inspire the well-being, creativity and participartion of a diverse range of people with mental distress through the production of quality art. Go to www.cooltanarts.org.uk to find out more about the chrity.
