Story

Thanks for visiting the Fire Training Academy's fundraising page.

The Fire Training Academy has adopted Bluebell Wood Childrens Hospice as their official charity.  We aim to raise as much money as possible for this wonderful cause.

To show how much we are supporting this fantastic charity our Founder, Terry Gormley, has completed the New York Marathon (2008) and the London Marathon (2010)  in aid of this special charity so please help us to support this fantastic charity by donating now.

Bluebell Wood have to make £45,000 per week to enable them to run this wonderful facility.  Yes, £45,000 per week thats £2,340,000 per year!

About the charity

At Bluebell Wood, we care for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions. We support hundreds of families, both in our hospice and in family homes. It costs around £6.5m to keep our doors open for families across South Yorkshire and beyond. We receive 16% Statutory funding.
