My story
A (pricey) pint in the UK costs £5 - Buy Sarah Jane a pint and toast her as the new season continues!
Lymphoedema Support Network was a charity supported by Lis and is a great cause to support now that she is no longer with us.
This is a page not to dwell and be morbid and sad: this is the page where we can toast the fabulous Elisabeth Sladen, the incredible cast and crew of Doctor Who and buy a 'pint' for each other as we sit down to watch the new series.
We're not about big donations: there are other 'For Lis' pages out there. This is about buying an imaginary 'pint' for yourself so we can all sit down at 6pm this Saturday and toast the fabulous show that is Doctor Who, the wonderful people who are attached to it on the crew and cast, and each other.
And if, by accident, a charity makes a wedge out of it too, and that charity is one supported by the incredible, immortal Lis, then that makes my beer taste that bit better!

The LSN is a national charity that provides information and support to people with lymphoedema. It runs a telephone helpline, produces quarterly newsletters and a wide range of fact sheets, and maintains an up-to-date website. It works to raise awareness of lymphoedema and campaigns for better national standards of care.
