Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.
In Summer 2008 James Sanderson, Visesh Sankaran and Adam Piper, a bunch of bumbling semi-competent undergraduates from various backgrounds, will be driving a quarter of the way around the world in a car that is nearly as old as they are in aid of the Anthony Nolan Trust and Cambridge-Mongolian charity CAMDA (Cambridge Mongolian Disaster Appeal). Their momentous journey will begin in London on the 5th July, and end in Ulaanbataar, Mongolia if and when they arrive approximately a month later - a month that will be filled with potholes, dust, deserts, baking days, freezing nights and more adversity than you can shake a stick at. Separately utterly useless, together they create a machine of incredible mediocrity that is, or will be by launch day at least, (barely) Fit For Purpose. All proceeds raised via this site will go directly towards helping those in need in of a Bone Marrow Transplant, and in establishing a database of donors, and at the same time help Team FFP towards their goal of raising over £1000 before they set off on their adventure, so please give generously! We also have another justgiving page where we're raising money for our other charity, CAMDA, which works closely with the people of Mongolia. More info can be found here: http://www.justgiving.com/fitforpurpose
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Anthony Nolan Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor us now!
Many thanks for your support.
