Flora London Marathon 2004 · 18 April 2004 ·

Wooden Spoon is the children’s charity of rugby. Our vision is that through the power of rugby every child and young person across the UK & Ireland, no matter what their background has access to the same opportunities.

Story

The year of hard training has shown results, 5 stone of ugly fat has now gone, I have also successfully finished a few half marathons. The final stage in my transformation is to run the 2004 London Marathon and raise funds for The Wooden Spoon Society. The marathon is now fast approaching and the training is getting very hard. A photo of me crossing the finish line will I hope soon replace the two currently gracing this site!
Please sponsor me online.

It's the most efficient way for me to raise funds for my charity. If you are a UK taxpayer your donation will be increased by almost a third at no cost to you.

Both myself and The Wooden Spoon really appreciate your donation. Any amount will make a difference but I know you are all extremely wealthy individuals so please try to give generously!

Many thanks.
