On 5 October Caroline, Jackie, Julia and Will are taking part in the 2008 Great North Run on behalf of the Family Holiday Association. The FHA provides short breaks for families with young children affected by poverty, trauma, depression or long-term illness. These breaks can help strengthen relationships and give the family a fresh perspective, providing them with the motivation to make positive changes to their lives.

If we reach our target of £1,000 - it will be enough to send two families away on a holiday.
