We are embarking on a 40k walk in one day across the South Downs and are calling on your support.

Can you believe that one in three families in the UK cannot afford a one-week break away from home each year? Can you imagine a year with no break?

Once you add on other families that don't take a break because of ill health - both physical and mental - disability, family breakdown etc... that's an awful lot of children who don't get to spend time away with parents, guardians or siblings. The benefits of a family holiday are many, long lasting and can be life changing.

Now we know that we have done a few walks/runs in the past few years and we're aware that we are all finding it tough in the current climate. With this in mind we have set a low target and are asking for no more than £5-£10 from each person (although feel free to be more generous if you're in the money!). 

Please also consider the Gift Aid element to Just Giving as it does give more money to the FHA.
