Story
Torrential heavy monsoon rains in the Khyber region have resulted in the worst flooding in the history of Pakistan. According to UN, more than 14 million people have been affected and at least 1600 are dead.
Humanity First is working around the clock to distribute relief supplies and medical care to combat serious threats of cholera, malaria, diarrhea and other diseases as dengue fever, measles, polio and scabies in the affected population. The number of medical camps so far is 40 which have seen 9,708 patients. Total of 3,091 food packs distributed, 1,087 tents, 1,000 mosquito nets. Total people assisted is 37,168.
Given that some supplies are being given as aggregate to the same families in one consignment, a conservative estimate would be that we are reaching over 50000 people.
Please give generously to help us maximise the scale of our medical response and to ship the drugs and supplies in time to make a difference.
