You are about to fund the incredible work of Doctors without Borders - Peace Nobel Prized in 1999- a French independent medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid in more than 60 countries to people affected by armed conflicts such as Syria, epidemics, natural or man-made disasters - such as the current drought in Niger.

Why the 2 Oceans Marathon? I lived 15 first years of my life in Africa but never visited South Africa, run 7 marathons but this was my first Ultra.It was a fantastic race, despite atrocious conditions with rain and wind, I reached the marathon mark in 5h15 after a first 4.7 km climb.... To my sponsors, I will tell the whole story of the race including why the police 4x4 intercepted me at km 49. Happy Easter from Cape Town!
