WE DID IT.  All 10k.  And would like to say thank you to everyone!

Cat and I are running 10k. We're going to try to run it in under a hour. It's not that much more than the number of steps you might take in an average day anyway. Except we're going to be running, not walking. And in an hour.

In the mid-60s, an amazing film called Cathy Come Home was made, showing how awful housing conditions had a terrible effect on people's lives in Britain. About the same time Shelter was set up to tackle the problems of slums and homelessness. They're still going today, and they do great, sustainable, long-term work.
