Wooden Spoon supports a whole range of projects designed to improve life for disadvantaged children and young people throughout the UK and Ireland. Over the years, its social and sporting events across the country have raised millions of pounds that have changed thousands of lives.

Our personal message:

In June 08, The Flyers will again take part in the 4 Peaks Challenge, hosted by the Wooden Spoon Society. Up against 49 other teams, the challenge will be to scale the highest peaks of the UK, Ben Nevis, Helvellyn, Snowdon and Carantouhill in Ireland.

The main award for the challenge - The Challenge Bowl - is awarded on the basis of an amalgamation of running time and funds raised for the charity.  In 2007 the Flyers came 1st overall in this category - the aim is to defend our title and regain first place in 2008.  Hopefully we can do this with your help in sponsoring us in our challenge.

ALL money raised for The Flyers will be ploughed into the Wooden Spoon's projects throughout the UK and Ireland helping disadvantaged and disabled children.

PLEASE REMEMBER AND TICK THE TAX BOUNUS BOX IF YOU PAY ANY TAX IN UK. The Wooden Spoon can then claim it back and it gets added to our total.
