My story
Many thanks indeed for supporting Flying With Diabetes’ and our first project for 2012 – Diabetes Formation Flight USA, an extremely exciting flight across the USA by Douglas as part of a formation of three aircraft flown by pilots with diabetes, raising funds for both JDRF UK and JDRF in the USA!
This Just Giving site allows people in the UK to donate tax efficiently.
Thank you so very much for your support – the donations go direct to JDRF which aims to find a cure for type 1 diabetes, and also supports research with positive implications for people with type 1 diabetes and up to 70% of people with type 2 diabetes.

We aim to find new ways to treat type 1 diabetes and its complications, prevent type 1 from developing and find the cure for people who already have the condition. We also help educate those affected by the condition, healthcare professionals and the general public.
