Story

Many thanks indeed for supporting one of our Flying With Diabetes’ flying projects – Diabetes Formation Flight USA 2013 (DFF USA).

DFF USA 2013 is a 400-mile formation flight of five single-engine airplanes flown by pilots with diabetes from Council Bluffs Airport, Iowa, to the EAA AirVenture airshow in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on July 29th, 2013.

This Just Giving site allows people in the UK to donate tax efficiently.  Thank you so very much for your support – donations go direct to JDRF which aims to find a cure for type 1 diabetes, and also supports research with positive implications for people with type 1 diabetes and up to 70% of people with type 2 diabetes.

Diabetes need not limit the scope of people’s dreams and ambitions.
