Story

For anyone that knows me, you'll appreciate that although I may be freakishly tall I am terrified of both heights and aeroplanes. I tried a 180ft bungee jump back in 1996 to help me deal with my fear which didn't work so well, neither did going up the CN tower in Toronto or the Willis Tower in Chicago.  I figured the only way to deal with it is kill or cure, literally!

So with Em and a few friends, I will be throwing myself out of a plane at 15,000ft strapped to some nutcase (seriously, who really does this for a living!) on Sunday 21 July 2013 to raise vital funds for Gift of Sight's world-class research into the prevention and treatment of blindness - with a particular emphasis on cures for age-related macular degeneration.

Any donations no matter how small or large would be greatly appreciated, just remember it's all for a fantastic cause or just to laugh at my stupidity for signing up for this.  Every penny raised here (please choose GiftAid too) goes to the charity - I pay seperately for the skydive.
