Story

Thank you for visiting our MBL Marathon running 2007 fundraising page.  The race will be held on 27th May, the Bank Holiday weekend, through the historical Edinburgh .

Your support would mean a lot to us and to the Chinese disabled kids and the children in the rural areas- even a little money will go a long way! So please dig deep and sponsor us online.

"Culture for Children" is MBL's mission. All the money raised will go towards several ongoing projects which involve developing and supporting various cultural activities for children from China .

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The Mothers' Bridge of Love will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

If you have any further queries about the projects and the MBL, please visit the MBL website www.motherbridge.orgSo please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.

Fu Yu is doing her PhD in Human Resource Management at Heriot-Watt University. She enjoys jogging every early morning before going to campus from last October. She stopped for couple of months because of the freezing winter in Scotland, but she picked jogging up since the 'summer time' stated. She will use this run to raise funding for the Chinese pupils and their family, and challenge herself. She appreciates your help and generous donation.

Zhang Yu,  I am doing my Bechelor degree in Engineering at Strathclyde University now. I used to jog every morning when I was crazy about boxing, even in cold winter. This run is really a chalenge to me, because I've never run such a long distance. I will try me best in training and the run. Thank you.

GUYS, PUT YOUR HANDS UP, AND SAY " WE CAN DO IT".

Luo Geng, graduated from University of Strathclyde last year with a master's degree in International Marketing. I was born and raised in China, every time I see those poor children in rural area struggled with their living, I always feel ashamed on myself for  lacking power of helping them. I once pedaled alone from Guangzhou to Beijing with a total  distance of 2,600 KM, unfortunately I was not aware of charity fundraising. Here comes the  chance and I will try my best in this charity event to help those poor children as much as I can.
