Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My tiny microlight will be flying at altitudes of up to 10,000 feet over some of the most inhospitable terrain on the planet and with the possibility of severe weather conditions.  Flying through 18 different countries, the route exceeds 12,000 miles flying over desert, jungle and vast expanses of ocean.  I have to ensure that I am equipped to deal with the worst case scenario in these diverse hostile environments.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

I didn’t know Martin but such a noble effort for such a good cause. I had the dream to fly to Australia in a microlight many years ago but it’s still a dream. Martin is now with the stars in a higher orbit around the earth. The money donated earlier was raised by the Malthouse charity quiz participants, Berkeley for Help for Heroes and in memory of Martin. Donation by Peter Hodgkins on 11/03/10
