You helped me raise an astonishing &pound;13,500 in 2008 for Leukaemia Research (thank you) but less than a year after hanging up my medal, I was diagnosed with cervical cancer.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">It hurt just as much.
