My story
I run only one marathon for each of the cancers I survive.
I intend that this to be the last one. You helped me raise an astonishing £13,500 in 2008 for Leukaemia Research (thank you) but less than a year after hanging up my medal, I was diagnosed with cervical cancer.
It hurt just as much. It shattered my life in many ways.
The Eve Appeal funds research into the five gynaecological cancers.
I know money is tight and lots of people want sponsorship. But I hope you can give a little to help me help the Eve Appeal find a way to get rid of this brutal disease which claims so many lives and steals hope.
