As MR T would say "You crazy foo!" yep, I'm doing it again folks!
Those of you that were so kind to support my 2008 challenge (together we raised an amazing £1734.13) know of my reasons for running back then. This time it's a simple celebration of life itself, of which I know my dad would have a cheeky grin for right now.
Finishing in just over 4 hours last year was good but this time round time doesn't matter. Just so long as I beat Jimmy Saville and avoid chafing of the 'nipplets' I'll be less sore both mentally & physically, although as you can see by the pic im a 'robber' in the Essex Police Team so maybe soreness is enevitable!!
Now the money bit......I'm not gonna mention the 'credit crunch' (like the BBC do every 5 minutes, we are all doomed!) doh...I've just done it! I know we are all feeling the squeeze in the old sky rocket but anything that you are able to pledge would really be appreciated.
So come on kids put down those fags, alcoholic beverages, cakes and glossy 'art pamphlets!' and do something better with the cash, donate the dough instead....YOU will feel GREAT.
So where is the money going? Fair Havens provides in-patient day and community care for people suffering from cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
