Every 2 hours, someone in the UK sustains a spinal cord injury. Their world – and that of their family – is turned upside-down. SIA aim to reach everyone affected by spinal cord injury, to connect them to all the help and support they need to life a fulfilled life.

Story

Thankyou for visting this fundraising page. The money raised will be donated to the Spinal Injuries Association (SIA), who have a strong connection with Stoke Mandeville hospital where Rob is currently being treated.

Since being in hospital, Dad has realised how supportive and kind his friends and family have been to him and really appreciates all their visits and also the numerous cards and flowers which have been sent to the house! He has also come to realise that families and friends shouldn't just be brought together in a crisis.

So, because of this, Dad and his family would like you to raise some money by having FUN! For example, a barbecue (instead of bringing a bottle of wine bring a donation!) or playing a game, a family picnic, a sponsored walk anything like this where instead of just giving money you are having fun whilst doing it!

His office in London will be doing a caption competition with a suitably ridiculous picture of Dad and all the entry fees will be their donation of their choice.

So get thinking and above all have fun with your nearest and dearest. Please tell us how you raised your money in the comment box when you donate. Thankyou very much.

Clare had fun making this page, so Mum has agreed to donate a tenner!
