We are joining our close friends Bob and Louise Nolan (from up there Scotland) in their fundraising efforts for Deafblind Scotland. We are all deaf and have known them since our schooldays and seen personally at first hand how Bob's Usher's Syndrome, more specifically his deteriorating eyesight is affecting his life. We also have first hand experience of many Deafblind people and how their lives are affected by society's attitude towards them, and the lack of resources and support available to them. Bob may have twisted our arms to do this suicidal ride, from Lands End to John O'Groats but we do so with much pleasure as this is a very worthwhile cause which will raise much needed funds for a group of people who deserve support. And what's more we get 2 weeks of free light entertainment (some call it comedy) being in Bob's company. We set off from Lands End on 31st May and are scheduled to arrive at John O'Groats on 15th June. More information about this ride can be found on http://www.bobstandemride.zoomshare.com/ Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.
