This is a local charity for local people. It provides volunteer drivers to escort patients to hospital, equipment loan,financial grants,overnight nursing care,bereavement counselling, aromatherapy,physiotherapy and hydrotherapy. It also sup[ports the Rainbow rooms and patient information point at West Berks Hospital.

My story

Thanks for visiting Simon Tillyer's fundraising page.

We made it!

Trevor and I set off from Lands End on the 12th May 2009 and reached John O'Groats on 18th raising money for a fantastic charity.

We averaged 125 miles per day with a total of 79 "saddle" hours to complete our journey in 7 days.

Thanks so much for all your support and messages received along the way. I am sure it will take a few days for it to sink in exactly what we have just done but for now its great to be home reflecting on one of the best adventures on my life!
