Breastrokes with USA PRO, Windermere, Lake District - Saturday 1st September 2007

On Saturday 1st September 2007 there will be another loon joining the annual Breastrokes swim event in Lake Windermere ~ surrounded by fells, with plenty of time and space to look at the wandering clouds and enjoy the experience of swimming without lane ropes or pool ends. We are raising money for Breast Cancer through Cancer Research UK with the Breastrokes swim event supported by USA PRO. Although the water is supposed to be at it’s warmest at this time of year, we all know what the weather has been like - it’s going to be a hard slog and we really would appreciate your help in making the blood, sweat and tears count and sponsor us!

All of the money donated on this page will go directly to the charity and donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you… great news!!!

I am always looking to get into any new challenge and raise money for the Causes !!! I have been raising money for Breast Cancer over the past few months and saw this as a unique opportunity to take the plunge and raise a bit more! I swim in memory of my Grandma !
