Thanks for visiting the fundraising page for our Football Dash!!!!! This challenge has been 6 months in the making and the Football Dash Team are now seeking your help in raising money for two fantastic local charities namely St Catherines Hospice just outside Preston and Group 156 of the HCPT - The Pilgrimage Trust based in Leyland (please see the last paragraph for details). These charities remain close to the hearts of our team, some having experienced first hand the care, love and support from the staff and volunteers at St Catherines Hospice during some of the most difficult times in their lives. Others are regular volunteers with Group 156 of the HCPT and assist in providing a holiday to remember for disadvantaged children from all over Lancashire. What is FOOTBALL DASH 2008? On the 21st June 2008 10 Lancashire Lads will be leaving Fratton Park at midnight in an attempt to get round every English Premiership Football Club and Wembley in 24 hours without picking up a speeding ticket! The team has been selected, vehicles fully fuelled, now all we need is your support!! Meet the Team!! Dave Flanagan - Richard Cartmell - Glenn Torvell - Jonas Olofsson - Mark Hartley- James Isles - Paul Silcock- Dak Vasiliou - Neil Derricott - WAVE US OFF!!! The boys will be making their final preparations on Friday 20th June at St Catherine's Hospice at midday. All are welcome to come along and wave us off.

Needless to say we are still waiting for responses from lots of other clubs on route to help the day go with a bang!! JustGiving.com are unable to allow us to accept donations for two charities on the same page therefore all the monies are going to the accounts people at HCPT HQ who will then split the money in half and we will present it to St Catherines Hospice. By doing this we are able to claim gift aid on all donations therfore adding an additional 28p for every pound you donate!!!
