Thanks for visiting GB Football's fundraising page-  I hope you're feeling flush!

GB Football- Men and Women- have a squad of deaf, talented and elite players who's aim is to compete in the Deaflympics in Taiwan, 5-15th September 2009, and bring back home the GOLD!

Unfortunately, unlike many British Olympic and Paralympic athletes, Britain’s Deaf athletes receive no form of aid from the Government for training and there is no funding in sight to enable their participation at the Games. Each footballer is faced with a daunting financial hurdle of raising £3,000.

We are now fundraising to enable the GB Football team their richly deserved opportunity to compete- after all, GB Men are currently World Champions, having won the GOLD at the last Deaflympics, and the GB Women achieving a Bronze in their first ever international competition.
