I don't have a bike yet but for some reason I have committed to riding from London to Portsmouth (I hear there is a pub at the end) in aid of the Environmental Justice Foundation's Save the Sea campaign.

Last time I did a charity bike ride my saddle had a mind of it's own so i'm hoping at least for an upgrade on that experience. I'm sure the darkness will see to that.
