Hello ladies & gentlemen, and welcome to my Justgiving page.

Well, London Marathon completed in ridiculous temperatures, didn't break 4 hours but beat my time from last year by nearly 10 minutes. 4 months of training in snow, rain, gales and sub zero temps couldn't have prepared for 22nd April which brought clear skies, unbroken sunshine with 24c high, sound for spectating with a cold beer though ;oD

All in respect of my father, who tragically lost his life to cancer. Thanks to all who have donated thus far. Donations will still be accepted on this page up to 22nd June, so if you can help spread the word to raise the maximum amount possible then much appreciated.

Macmillan Cancer Support helps people living with cancer. In the UK over a million people are living with cancer and one in three people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. As well as taking action today to support people with cancer Macmillan is shaping the future for cancer care. Their increasing range of services include:

Direct Financial Help & Assistance

Some General costs to Macmillan include:

£144 could fund a Macmillan Nurse for one day

£124 could fund a physiotherapist for one day

£50 could buy a liquidiser for someone who cannot eat solid food

Approx. £40 to fund Macmillan Cancer Line for one hour

Approx £33.44 to fund Macmillan Benefits Helpline for 1 hour

£22 to fund 100 copies of The Cancer Guide
