We did it!!! The feeling was unbelievable, thanks to everyone for all your support throughout the 12 days!!!! My bike is absolutely knackered, needs a good going over ha ha..... Had to dump my luggage 25 miles from the end as both my wheels had buckled, made the ending a little more nervy than we would have liked!!! What next??? Yeah right!!!!

Training is going well, launched myself in an 8 foot ditch on Saturday, I can tell you that was a bit of a wake up call ha ha..... Thanks to everyone for your support so far :-)
Hello All,
On June the 19th 2010 I will embark on a journey with 'me mate Stu' travelling from Lands End to John O'Groats by bike, that's 85 miles a day for 12 days, there will be no back up crew or luxury nights in nice hotels, this will be as basic as we can possibly make it, tent and sleeping bag kinda thing :-)
This may seem like quite a a strange way to spend two weeks of your summer holiday but I am doing it in memory of a man who was a true hero to me from my first memories of him to my last, my Dad David Simpson, Unfortunatley at the beginning of 2009 my Dad suffered a heart attack whilst cycling and passed away soon after, seeing the affects this had not only on my life but also on my family's I wanted to do something that my Dad would be proud off and try and raise money at the same time for a very worthy cause.
Any money you can spare to help raise money for the British Heart Foundation would be much appreciated.
