This October, after a year off, I shall be running the Cumbrian Half Marathon in memory of my friends mother Joyce De Giorgio.  Joyce passed away in March this year after a battle with cancer and spent her final weeks in the Eden Valley Hospice in Carlisle.

The Hospice ensured Joyce was well cared for with love and respect until her passing, but they are in dire need of support to continue giving this care to adults and children of Cumbria when they need it most.  This is the biggest challenge I have had in my life but am determined to raise as much as possible and help in any way i can.
