Tibet Relief Fund helps Tibetans to build a brighter future through better education, healthcare and community development. We also run a thriving sponsorship programme for children, elderly Tibetans, monks and nuns.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my page in memory of my friend Kat.

Kat said it as it was - always full of sparkle and guts, so it didn't surprise me to learn from Kat's husband, Andy, just how passionate Kat was about the treatment of the Tibetan People by the Chinese.

An extract from Andy's justgiving page for Kat which he has kindly let me use...

When we were in Tibet a Chinese State film crew asked to interview us as the Chinese president was visiting. "Isn't it great what China have done in Tibet?" asked the reporter. "NO" Kat replied, "you have taken their jobs, destroyed their culture and stopped them owning their own businesses".

So that's why I'm running the Bath half marathon on Sunday 7th March...Kat always believed in me, so I want to give something to the Tibetan Relief Fund, a charity which she so strongly believed in.

Thank you for your support

Lou xx
