{ مَّن ذَا ٱلَّذِي يُقْرِضُ ٱللَّهَ قَرْضاً حَسَناً فَيُضَاعِفَهُ لَهُ أَضْعَافاً كَثِيرَةً وَٱللَّهُ يَقْبِضُ وَيَبْسُطُ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ }
Who is he that will lend to Allâh a goodly loan so that He may multiply
it to him many times? And it is Allâh that decreases or increases
(your provisions), and unto Him you shall return. (Qur’an 2:245)

hadhrat abu huraira (radhiyallaahu `anhu) reported allaah's
messenger (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa Sallim) as saying,
"Among the actions and good deeds for which a believer
will continue to receive reward after his death are:
* knowledge which he taught and spread,
*a good son whom he left behind,
*or a copy of the Qur'an which he left as a legacy"
(sunan ibnu maajah & sunan al-bayhaqi)
Donors will get the rewards of these students practising upon their
knowledge gained, and the rewards of the persons to whom knowledge
has been passed down by these students, and so on and so forth, like a
domino effect the rewards will keep coming to the donor of this noble
cause, inshaa’llaah, and allaah knows best.

Where will the funds go?
Funds will go towards ECC’s £1,000,000 appeal
which will help ECC with the following:
• purchasing the college building
• clearing al-qardh al-hasana debts
• improving the college’s infrastructure,
giving students the appropriate environment
and tools to excel
• reducing student fees, and allowing courses
to be easily accessible to all
• covering the travel and accomodation for the
sponsored walk between the caves of mount
thawr and mount nuur (£500)

I and a few muslim brothers will be doing
a 160 mile bicycle journey
to South Wales and then
160 miles back again one
week later!
The bike journey begins on
August 30th from London!
This is my pledge now to
get the last few sponsors
to come through, inshaa'llaah!
We are NOT going to give up so
easily!
bi ithnillaah, the bike
journey will be done even in
harsh weather conditions if it
comes to that!
